The Franklin County Circuit Court Clerk is accepting resumes for a part-time position.
Job Description
Candidates should be able to perform a wide variety of technical and complex legal and clerical duties in support of circuit criminal and circuit civil courts. Candidate should also be able to perform administrative functions of the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Candidates must be proficient in a variety of computer applications. Examples: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook. Candidates must be able to learn new software applications and have the ability to operate standard office equipment. Candidates must be able to complete various filing activities which require bending and lifting for long periods of time during work hours. Knowledge of local and state court rules, legal procedures and terminology is preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule
